Register Now for School for the Spirit


Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill's School for the Spirit is starting April 22, for four Wednesdays in April and May.   

School for the Spirit consists of small group classes and discussions, preceded by dinner, fellowship and a meditation.  Dinner starts at 7:00 pm and classes end by 9:30 pm.  Participants are invited to arrive a bit early and join in the regular Wednesday evening Eucharist in Zabriskie Chapel, starting at 6:30 pm.

Four-week small group classes offered this session (through May 15) include:
·         “Joan of Arcadia,” Theophany & Call, with Rev. David Crosby
·         Writing Your Own Spiritual Rule of Life, with members of ICOH Benedictine Group
·         Our Weakness is Our Strength: the Twelve Steps as a Path to Living,  with Bud Hart
·         The Church: It’s Not About Who’s Right, with Tim Sedgwick
·         Divine Imagery: Great Religious Works in the National Gallery, with Martha Taggart and Lisa Yount
·         Bible Workbench, with Rev. Bill Dols
