Pumpkin Patch Bake Sale Begins Oct 2

Immanuel Church-on-the-Hill’s annual Bake Sale will begin on Sunday, October 2, and continue until the Pumpkin Patch closes on Halloween evening.
Unlike pumpkin sales, for which Immanuel keeps 40 percent of revenue, we keep 100 percent of food sales (less sales tax).  All of it goes for the Outreach Program, supporting our work with local charities like Carpenter’s Shelter and Christ House, as well as a number of national and international ministries including the Haiti MICAH Project and ministries in Malawi and Congo.
Please donate baked goods often throughout the month of October.  Peak sale periods include weekends and Columbus Day, so please deliver your donations early on these days.  We occasionally need a midweek surge of baked goods (especially cupcakes, muffins and cookies) for school groups and for the second and third pumpkin truck unloading, scheduled for Wednesday, October 12 and 19.  Click here for a brochure with key information for preparing, labeling, and pricing your baked goods.
During the weekends of October 8-9 and 15-16, we will make apple crisps for sale in the Parish Hall kitchen.  Come enjoy the camaraderie as we peel and slice apples.  The apple crisps are always a sellout and are a huge contributor to revenues from the Bake Sale.
Many thanks for your support to the Bake Sale and to Immanuel’s Outreach Program!
