Can You Help Our Bicycle Ministry?

Christmas Families needs used bikes and HELPERS to fix them now.

For three decades the bicycle ministry under the leadership of Bill Frye has brought a sense of freedom, self-confidence,  and healthy exercise to more than 1,000 children. Last year, Joshua Miller stepped in very successfully. He will repeat this feat this year with all of our help. We need:

  • Used bikes. The inventory is low, so we need many used bikes, and we need them now to leave enough time to fix them up. So if you have an unused bike in the garage, or if you know of a source of used bikes that are waiting for enthusiastic young riders (perhaps your neighbor or the basement of an apartment building where unclaimed bikes accumulate). All sizes needed.
  • Helpers to fix the bikes. A large team is key to success. If you do not know yet how, the experienced members of the team will teach you a new skill.

If you have a used bike or if you can help, please get in touch with Josh Miller or Dagobert Soergel (or phone 703-823-2840/   cell 703-585-2840).
